We've used a lot of bats. The CAT X gave my son laser line drives to the infield — durable as a rock, but the hard alloy barrel was producing contact that stayed low. Off that spot, it stings. My son used the Hype Fire USSSA and it genuinely performs well — that barrel technology thrives in USSSA.
